Any of you got some ideas? If so, post them here. This topic is also used to set out the dates for each activity.

So far:

Dec 1 - Change to a Winter Themed Avatar and Signature

As for me, I'm currently thinking of doing several art contests - a day for creating a banner promoting the event, and a day for some MPL-related artwork. Maybe create an OC, a new item, a new board, a new space, and a new minigame would be in here. Also creating some new ranks and sharing some MP experiences.
 
I like your idea for December 1st, I guess we should really keep that.

Artworks things could be great but we need to keep in mind that it's not everyone which are good with arts stuffs so I would suggest to put an easy and fun objective instead. Basically a "just-for-fun" activity to let everyone a chance.

I also like your second idea for December 2nd, but not sure if we should do it December 2nd, depending of the ways we will organise the activities.

For how the activities could be organised, I have 3 ideas.

1st-> 31 days, varying to each other each day, and following this each day until the end, but as how 31 isn't divisable by 3, there's 1 which might have to do 11 instead of 10.

2nd-> We could cooperate all together for every of the 31 activities.

3rd-> Cooperating for some of them while keeping the 1st idea at times.

Tell me your ideas guys. I would prefer the 2nd or the 3rd if it was possible to give the best experience towards the activities for the others and ourselves. Just want to see your opinions.
 
But before saying the second plan, I would sort of like to see how we would do that? Because when I meant all together I of course mean that we are all taking part on every the events, basically, we each have a role in each of the activities which puts it way, way harder. That's why I somehow hesitating with the third. But once again, we don't even know if Brookelas even knows about our planning. That's why I would suggest the third, that's because I feel like it's not really possible to do absolutely everything together. I took the idea like that but I guess the best would be to look with either the first or third.

But whatever the plan we will still have to organise everything together about who does what though.

I did already thought about your suggestions, I guess it could be well executed. The only thing is to know who does organise it, the way we do organise it (solo or together) and at which date the activity will be done. Also, I guess that if it's possible, we should even try to find ideas which aren't even being done on the forum to try it out because it might be a little repetitive then.

Basically, a suggestion of what we could do would be...
Dec 1 - Image & Signature winter-themed (This one we do left it here because I guess it's an awesome idea to get in the holidays.) >I could do it if you're interested, if not discuss about how you would prefer to have it. Then December 2 it would be either you or Brookelas and December 3 the one which haven't been choosen and we are starting the wheel back until the end.

Other things I would be alright from your ideas would be...
-> Riddles (It was REALLY popular when I did it I guess so I'm sure we can do it again and I'm pretty sure that we could do it together for some bonus. Just to remember my activity with Spring Fever, we could do it exactly the same except that I'm not going to be the only one to give out bonus things and we could also modify a few things beforehand.)
-> Minigame (Can be a good idea, a suggestion of mine ~ should be related with winter >Something with snow or ice could also work.)
-> Create an item (sounds good, my suggestion would be this ->Iced-themed to put more difficulty around.)
-> Quiz : Could be good, it's something we can definitely do together.

What I like less

->Board -> I guess it might be a little too long right there, it is usually a failure. Depending of what they have to do we should be careful with the creations. But something like a space or banner "should" be acceptable, however, being myself, I would probably not priorise so, especially if it does take several days.

Also, for the order we are doing. I guess the best would be like I mentionned, I guess we should take an order and rotate unless we have something we are all doing together. I'm not exactly sure at which frequency we would do them, but my suggestions would be either:

1- 3 solo/1 multi
2- Most of it solo/ a few multi (Basically we aren't priorising the activities together, we are just doing a few.)
3- Mixed. (Basically we could do some occasionally towards the event.)

Also, before the beginning I'm pretty sure we'll have to present the activity a day or two before the event. I could prepare a banner for the event that I will show you once it will be done (if I'm getting an positive answer about if you want me to do it) and the introduction topic if you are both interested. If not, then tell me who should do it.

Once I see some of your opinions, I will continue to discuss forward. I am trying to bring some ideas for the activities and when I will have got some, I will present them. Also, we still have to wait for Brookelas' answer because he haven't give it yet and we are already in a few days of presenting the event.
 
Hmmm... that's something I thought on the event I did but it was a little confusing to me, so if you could tell me if you have a good idea about how to make it work, I guess one of us could do it. So if you're alright with everything I said in the earlier post, I could start to plan things and I will show what I planned once I will have those done to see if it does satisfy all of us before going on. But we still need to decide a few things regarding this...

->The order of who is doing what 1(I could if you're both alright, if not then we'll take who is interested.)-2-3
->The dates we will do activities together to make ourselves a good schedule about the activities.
 
Well, I see it something like this, to show an example:

Member 1: It was a nice, breezy day in the Mushroom Kingdom.
Member 2: Then suddenly, the sky turned stormy and gray.
Member 3: Bowser has invaded the Mushroom Kingdom.

I'm fine with whoever goes first. As for the collaborative activities, I'll wait for Brookelas to give his opinions before I give out mine if he decides to take part in this event.
 
Ah okay, it could be something you could do, I guess the best would be to make something holiday-related, it would be awesome.

And yeah, we should wait for Brookelas, hopefully that he will show and reply before Friday because he is not even conscious of it right now. If not then we might have to move on without him because we won't have enough time, at all, and he will even miss the beginning (especially an event like this, my own self took 1 week to prepare everything so imagine with everyone and all so it's important to start preparing it right now...)

Also, I will work on the presentation topic and the banner and I'll show the results at the end to both of you to see if it's okay. (It will be posted the day before we start, this Saturday.) Any particularity as of how I should do the banner or you trust me about doing an awesome one?
 
Okay good. I should be doing it, I might have it done by the time we have to present everything. But about Brookelas... I have a feeling we might have to do our things without him if he doesn't reply to anything before tomorrow, November 28 at the beginning of the evening because we will already be way too tied with the remaining time and it does take a lot of time and planning and we need to discuss about the plans, so if any of you see him, you must really tell him or else it's no choice, we have to take plans without him because it takes too long! So be sure to reply before this please!

Also, about the event, we will obviously present it to others before the 1st, so Friday the 29, 2 days before the activity, I guess we could open the board and I'll made the introduction topic (which will be stickied) with all the informations we will gather for everyone to present (We will discuss about how the introduction will be made before of course) and according to the plan I will do the December 1 event, then we will get an order rolling to be fair for everyone.

We do basically need to do a sort of calendar with each of our activities, seeing how much of them we will do together (if we don't do any it will be 11,10,10 (or 16,15) for the events to prepare, I might have 1 more to do if we still keep the plan because 31 is not divisable by 3 or 2 depending of how much cooperative events we are doing.)
 
Chances are Brookelas is unlikely to make it, so let's just set out our plans together and if he shows up, we'll show them to see if he agrees. We need some suggestions on which dates to put our nominated activities in and which activities to collaborate in, and fill any blanks with some activities that we come up with, then after the suggestions have been made, we take a vote on whose activity organization we'll use.
 
Well for December 1st, it's the change pic/signature thing, for December 2, it will be you or Brookelas which will do an activity (if it's you, you could choose between one of yours and we could then make a planning for where do you want to make it.). Of course, if we have to plan everything, we will have to know the order, so I guess we might have to leave the last spot to Brookelas or if he can,t make it, we just varies with each other. Then, we need to know how much of those cooperative activities we have to do.

If, according to our plan, that is. If you have any activity to do, you can tell me your ideas, you need at least 10 ready or 15 if Brookelas can't make it at all. You might have to decide of one of the other, you'll be always on the same order, you could decide, then we might leave the last one for Brookelas. When you will have decided, you will then have to prepare your activities for that day... you're not forcilly obliged to get them all ready right at the beginning but needs to be ready for the day it will happen. We can still discuss about the activities even Decemeber 1st is here to be sure that everything will be alright. and then we can all agree with how much of those activities we will all agree to make them cooperative and we will just arrange the order to be sure that it's always me/you/Brookelas or me/Brookelas/you which will do them in that order.

Ah, your ideas sounds nice. We only need to develop them more now. We can easily share our opinions with each other and discuss about what we could do together or whatnot because I know there's a few where we could be submitting things together for the others and that I was having the same ideas for a few as well (tell me if there's any you think we could organise together and we could definitely). But yeah, I like your ideas, they are good. Time to find some for me now (I have to seek more new ideas because I was already having those for the most cases unless you want to let me do some!)
 
Yeah, it is, as long as you explain me correctly what I have to do in each, a descripition of the activity and that we are both alright with how the activity will be organised. If you have any ideas about how you are doing them, let me know and we will see how it will be done and at which date we will, then we will make a date where it will be cooperative, basically

1- Me
2- Coop
3- You
4- Brookelas
5- Me
(...)
but without breaking the chain we are already having though. So we might have to put those in some other days if possible.
 
Here's what we would do if we collaborate in the activities:

Opinion survey: Ask questions regarding members' favorites in their games
Quiz: Ask some questions related to MP, have members quiz each other for more points
Mnemonic: Create a list of names of certain subjects (something like the Star Spirits one done last time), we could post seperate ones, making two or three
Riddles: Post our riddles for other members to answer, have members create riddles for more points
Continue the story: Create a starting sentence, we could post seperate ones for two or three potential stories, remind the members to say which story/stories they will continue
 
Opinions Survey: I like that, as it is. No changes!
Quiz: We should do the opposite. Members ask questions from each other, we ask more for more points but I'm alright with any of the two ideas. Just tell me which one you prefer.
Mnemoric: And then how the others will be ranked? Or is it just for fun/no rankings, counting in the participation only like I did?
Riddles: Same as the quiz, I would suggest that we should let the others ask riddles between each other and making riddles ourselves at times for more points. But once again, I'm alright with any of the two ideas, just tell me which one you do prefer.
Continue the story: I'm a little confused still. I might need more explanation before going on.

But still, talking about the points, you do remember the topic SuperZambezi just made about it? I think we need to discuss about another plan about those "points".
