Nobody I know thinks not wearing a condom is cool. Most of the time girls don't use them because 1) the guy doesn't want to ("it doesn't feel the same") or 2) they're too embarrassed to buy them. Usually these are the naive girls, not the sluts. The sluts know to use birth control because they don't want a baby ruining their slutting and partying.
Personally I just find condoms to be unreliable (not from personal experience but compared to other bc they fail a lot) and they break up the mood (stopping to put on a condom sucks). Hence why I'm on the shot. I only used condoms for a little while until I could get on birth control. I'd never use condoms as a primary form of birth control again, only STD protection if needed (like if I was just hooking up, which probably will never happen).
