Though I think it won't happen- why would Nintendo want to remove one of its most famous features?

oh man if nintendo is indeed doing this then there surely stupid and will most likely lose alot of money so i think this might be just a rumor.
Nintendo Gamer since (1995) and grew up playing game's over the years such as
 Super Mario World, Super Smash Bros 64, Super Smash Bros Melee, Mario Kart Wii & More!  and own Nintendo Systems SNES, N64, GCN, Wii, Wii U & soon NES.

Bulls***. Nintendo can't regulate the connections to make them get blocked. It would cost way too much of their resources for them to ensue.
