Pokedex 3D Pro
« on: April 22, 2012, 11:35:07 PM »
Pokedex 3D Pro is an app for Nintendo 3DS from the E-Shop that will be available later this year. It will feature ALL 649 Pokemon from all generations. The only thing is, unlike Pokedex 3D from June 2011, is that it will not be free. It is an updated version of the original Pokedex 3D. It will be available in Japan on Saturday, July 14, 2012. No specific dates for other regions yet, other than 2012.

Here is some little footage:

I'm so getting this, even though it will not be free.

Yes, but with all Pokemon. Sounds great to see them in 3D, as if they're real!

I wonder if the QR generator thing that ppl had in the past will align correctly for the non G5 Pokemon :p

Marth is not amused.

It might just stick with the ways Generation 5 did, probably. Otherwise, it'll be really hectic and confusing.

And it will cost 1,500 Yen in Japan. A bit expensive, yes, but there's a lot of Pokemon within.

Well technically the QR codes are mathematical in construction iirc so unless an utter mess occurs it would be expected to match
1500 Yen is reasonalbe... kinda

Why they didn't do this originally is beyond me, but I want it so much.

This looks real cool and all, but why couldn't they have released this one first?

The first one was basically a demo and I think it's worked a treat. We now know what the Pokedex is like and a lot of people have been persuaded to buy the second game already. That and, it takes a lot of effort to make all of the individual Pokemon and I think Nintendo wanted a decent free app for the Nintendo 3DS upon release.

So, I can't read Japanese, and am too lazy to look it up myself, but does anyone know if you get them all right away, or is it the spotpass feature like the original?
