Sony Nasne

Looks like Sony is making an entertainment hub called the Nasne. It's suppose to be compatible with lots of Sony devices, including the PS3 and PS Vita. I'm kinda confused on why anybody would buy it (but that's just me :P), but $210 isn't that bad...for Sony. It's not known if it's coming to the West, but it's coming out in July for Japan. What'ya guys think about it?

Interesting indeed. $210 isn't bad at all. :p

What is the Japanese description for Nasne and Torne? Also what bizarre names XP

My thoughts exactly. I have no clue, but I'll probably go looking around for them...and yeah, those are the most hmm...unique? names for an entertainment product. :P

Hold on. What does this do exactly? "watch and record both digital terrestrial and satellite television"?

I think it means if you have a satellite dish/receiver you could divert the signal into the Nasne and record it.

Would make sense for those with existing satellite systems, I can't imagine the Nasne being a satellite receiver too XD
