Back to the topic, it's certainly not the best of RPs IMO, but it certainly isn't among horrible franchises. (tries to think of something... come tell me later)

The level grinding is incessantly painful, tbh. :p

Pssh, I love Pokemon. You have a wide variety of Pokemon to choose from and a bunch of moves to each them. I somewhat enjoy level grinding in this game than other RPGs to an extent.

Who the **** cares what people think of Pokemon. Let them hate it how they want.

Tha said, I've poured thousands of hours into Pokemon in my life and would rank it as the best franchise ever. DK, Mario and the rest can suck me in comparison

Nobody I know IRL even talks about Pokemon anymore. Nor do I see many discussions of it on forums these days.

The only thing people would ever bring up is like Pokemon from 2000 or something like that, other than flashbacks its not really talked about.
