Mew wasn't added when the original Japanese Pokemon Blue game came out, so no, it's 150.

Stickio. The Poorly Drawn Pokemon. Made by PivotmasterDX, he goes around with a sword and beats himself up.

I think that's pretty normal since I know a good amount of people that are against any form of pokemon above 1st gen.

Personally, Johto was my favorite.  Which brings me to this:  If they do release a fifth gen, do they just plan to use the same D/P/Pt,HG/SS graphics?

There's usually a graphics enhancement every generation.

It will be the same as Diamond and Pearl. HG and SS were basically just remakes with graphic boosts.

It'll be their first time starting a new generation without a major graphics update.  =P
RBGY: One color
GSC: Small boost with more colors.
RSE: Medium boost
DPPt: Big boost
5thGen: No boost?

I'm sure there will be some sort of graphic boost, especially for the DS XL's new graphics engine. Probably will still look blurry and blocky, though. :P

I don't hate the new generations but I don't like the pokemon that are way 'out there'

Weird examples:
*Nosepass -.-
*Arceus 0.o
*Starly It's a rip off
*Krickitune 0.o
*Budew -.-
*Drifloon 0.o
*About 100 others :P

Zorua and Zorarck, or something like that, are the official japanese names of the first two known 5th gen pokemon.
