Well, I suppose it's time to talk about "that" Mario Party. Yes, the one on the GBA that didn't do so well.

This was actually an okay game to me a few years ago. But then people were just saying it was bad for various reasons. I will concede that the lack of Multiplayer wasn't a good thing to have(and adding a real life board didn't help) but the entire board is alright in design, and some of the minigames are actually pretty good. My favorite is Mellon Folly.

Well, time to wait for the flame war to start.

I thought this one was pretty fun. Sure, the single-player mode was tedious, but the mini games were fun, and the Gadgets were decent time-wasters.

I like it personally! I find the Story Mode imaginative and fun to spend a nice day playing it  :P
But sadly not much...

The board gameplay with the car was annoying because of the small amount of mushrooms you have, but the game was pretty fun. I loved the gadgets.

It's one of the lowest rated Mario games but damn I actually strongly disagree with the critics here. I really enjoyed the single player mode, it's the best the Mario Party series has to offer. I love the dialouge, the story-arcs, and just the overall silly and quirky writing of the story. Shroomlock's investigations were always pretty fun to partake in, like which guy stole the thing or who robbed Thwomps house.
