Biggest thing in Canada right now is the C-51 bill which is an anti-terror bill. A lot of it has to do with stepping up security in regards to terrorist activity but really it's letting the government loom over whatever we do. If anyone remembers what happened in Toronto with the G-20 summit a few years back, if it were to happen under this bill then a lot of those people could be charged with terrorism. It's lost a lot of popularity and I believe it's being debated today in the House of Commons.
