This Japan-exclusive channel was released earlier this month. It's basically a Fortune Teller/horoscope. I hope it comes to the US, there really isn't any reason why it shouldn't.

Quote from: Hands-On thanks to Siliconera

Japanese Wii owners may have noticed their console glowing with a blue light. Nintendo sent a message announcing the Kyou to AShata no Uranai Lucky Channel which translates into Today And Tomorrow’s Lucky Fortune Telling Channel. The 82 block download lets users view fortunes for up to six Miis. When you pick a Mii you need to set a birthday for it to get your fortune. The Fortune Telling Channel automatically uses birth dates you set when you were making your Mii, but you still have to enter a year to use the channel.

When you turn the channel on it assigns a number for all six Miis so you can see which one has the best luck. If you click on a Mii you get a detailed look at your fortune just like the picture with the Moogle Mii. There are five rankings: love, work, school, communication, and money. Each one has a maximum of five points. As you can see above the Moogle Mii is out of luck for love. Poor moogle! Maybe his luck will change if he wears a lucky color? If you hold A+B the moogle makes a wish and changes his clothes into his daily lucky color. The program only lets you view fortunes for today and tomorrow so you can’t gaze far into the future to see when you’re going to have the best luck.

The fortune channel also has a friendship compatibility test that rates how two Miis, supposedly representing two people, will get along. Since chemistry changes everyday you can’t always be on top, but the Fortune Telling channel will tell you when things will get better.

There are also three abstract modes where you can have one Mii or a group of Miis ask about topics like food, recreation, and fashion. Instead of giving you a cut and dry fortune the Fortune Telling channel gives you three words and you’re supposed to interpret what they mean. For example you could get “rice” and “fish” for the food topic which people can use as ingredients to make a lucky meal.

What’s the source of the Wii’s fortune telling power? Media Kobo Inc., a company that also provides fortunes for mobile phones. This channel seems to be a clever promotion for Nintendo’s upcoming DS fortune telling game which is scheduled to come out next month in Japan.

So would you use it? I currently use all of my channels so I would. I like reading horoscopes.

Of course I'd use it! Before I go and play whatever game I'm going to play I can just go and see my horoscope, that'd be cool.
