I just played the demo.
I'm really mad now because I named my partner Toadette (the main character was named after my real name), but apparently it's Male and the game never informed me.
So I'm stuck with a Male Axew named Toadette.

I played the demo and it was very juicy! I honestly thought it wasn't going to be fun at first, but it was very interesting! Now I know I'm definitely getting the game when it's released.

I am a Snivy and my partner is Pikachu (Steven). :D

I finished the demo and to be honest I wasn't impressed with it. For those that haven't played the first 3 games it starts pretty much the same way minus the quiz thingy. I felt there was too much dialogue for just the beginning and hardly any playtime but then again it was just a demo.

As far as the mystery dungeons are, I hate the camera angle. I feel I can hardly see anything compared to previous games and the map isn't scribbled on the screen but I can do without that. The B-Dash is a little hard to control. I appreciate the attack interface by holding down L and the battles seem quicker and of better quality.

The one thing I appreciate the most though are the characters models. I don't know how many of you picked Snivy but the way she runs is spot on. I will have to check Oshawott and Tepig but the models are way improved. My last complaint though is the lack of a guild so far. That was one of my favorite parts of the game and its sad to not see another quirky character as the guildmaster.

I will still buy it though. I JUST WANTED TO BUILD MY HOUSE!

I tried to download the demo, but I don't have enough space.... I going to make more space and try it. I might not get it yet because I got my eyes on Pokemon Black 2 Version and the upcoming Pokemon X and Y.

Yeah, this game is a spin-off title, but the games you mentioned are mainstream titles. Be sure to get Black 2 soon enough, since I know a lot of people will put in many hours into Pokmon X/Y.

May be a little hard to read, though.

EDIT: Press Release:

Quote from: Press Release
REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- For years, players have enjoyed exploring the Pokmon-filled worlds of the Pokmon Mystery Dungeon series. With Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, launching March 24 exclusively for Nintendo 3DS, the series has evolved. In addition to becoming a Pokmon and exploring Mystery Dungeons, players can now build their own Pokmon Paradise, discover Magnagates that can be unlocked using the Nintendo 3DS camera, participate in a new cooperative multiplayer mode and even purchase additional content to expand the Pokmon experience.

The Pokmon Mystery Dungeon games give Pokmon fans new ways to enjoy their favorite characters, said Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of Americas executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is the first entry in the series on Nintendo 3DS, with features that just arent possible on any other system.

Players can choose to go on their adventure as one of five fan-favorite Pokmon: Pikachu, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott or Axew. Many of the Pokmon that populate the game are from the Unova region, the region featured in the Pokmon Black Version and Pokmon White Version games. Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity features more than 20 distinct Mystery Dungeons that change every time they are entered, granting players and their Pokmon a near-infinite amount of adventurous possibilities. When not exploring Mystery Dungeons, players can interact with other Pokmon and build their own Pokmon Paradise with various shops and facilities.

Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity takes advantage of many of the unique features of the Nintendo 3DS hand-held system. Players will instantly be drawn into the 3D visuals that pop with vibrant colors and polished design. Using the Nintendo 3DS camera, players can scan circular objects in the real world to unlock Magnagates, special portals that lead to additional Mystery Dungeons. When tagging another Nintendo 3DS system using StreetPass, players can revive other players fallen Pokmon and receive rewards for their virtual generosity. And for the first time in the series, players can team up with others via a local wireless connection to explore special Mystery Dungeons with up to three other players in cooperative Companion Mode. All experience and treasure earned in this local-multiplayer mode are carried over to the main single-player game.

Starting this Sunday, players can also purchase additional content for Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. The downloadable content includes new Mystery Dungeons to explore, new items to collect and new Pokmon to interact with. As a special treat for fans, the first dungeon, the Pok Forest Mystery Dungeon, will be free to download beginning launch day through April 30. Three additional downloadable Mystery Dungeons will also be available to purchase at launch, with more dungeons available regularly throughout April. A downloadable demo version of the game is currently available in the Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo is also offering a special bonus for people who buy both a Nintendo 3DS XL system and Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Anyone who registers a Nintendo 3DS XL system and either Pokmon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity or Luigis Mansion: Dark Moon with Club Nintendo between March 21 and April 30 will receive a code to download one of five Nintendo 3DS games for free: Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, Star Fox 64 3D or Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!

I like the mystery dungeon series but I recently realized I lose interest in playing them very quickly now. I perfer the main series. I might get this but not very soon.

Also I like the golden seed in the previous games. I generated my own wonder mail codes to get plenty ;D

The Electronic Manual took me a lot of time to read (consuming it had a lot of basic information), so I'm going to take the time I need on how I can understand the game.
