Title: Honeycomb Havoc (Mario Party 2)
Post by: Yoshi1 on January 25, 2011
(http://www.mariowiki.com/images/5/59/MP2_HoneycombHavoc.JPG)

In Honeycomb Havoc, 4 players line up and you can choose to get 1 fruit, or 2 fruits. Once all the fruit is taken there is a bee hive where if a player gets it, they get knocked out. As the players get eliminated the last standing player wins. You can collect coins too that are in the tree.

In this minigame, I always played very strategically and I won. Sometimes I lose if I play my brother or if I'm just in a bad position, but i always have a plan in 1o1's where I always get my opponent to the last 3 fruits before the bee hive so whatever they pick, I pick the opposite and I always win!

Easy mini-game to play, but it's tricky to win. I want to go for the coins, but winning the mini-game outweighs the extra coins won, though. So I get the extra coins if I can still win the whole mini-game.

Strategy and Arithmetic Sequence is needed. That's why I always collect coins and win as well

Loved this, but blasted CPUs screw me up =P

Yes, arithmetic is important, but CPU choices also do lots. >_>

I always win, like it's RARE and I mean VERY RARE, for a CPU to beat me at this. I'm just too fantastic. I always make sure I plan ahead, and I don't really try to get the coins, sometimes I do, but ehh, it's not my main goal. You have to concentrate and plan it out, cuz you can get screwed.. =P

One of my most favorites on Mario Party 2. You can never really guess what will be the outcome in this mini-game. I'm not sure why, but I like this mini-game a lot.

I'm good at planning but it doesn't help when the computer hits the number I didn't want it to and screws me up

Then you will have to modify your plan

LOL same here too!!! At times I press start to plan it out [Shame on myself]
The coins are usually for greedy ppl and usually those greedy ppl gets eliminated!

I can outdo CPU's any time, but it gets stressful. I can always get myself at least one coin though.

This game does require strategy as well as luck. You need to count ahead and hope that CPUs won't screw up your strategy by getting the wrong number. Turn order can affect the game as well.

I'm quite good at this game. Even if you're not good, you can usually score one or two bonus coins.

But if you are good at this game, you know that the coins are nothing but irrelevant bribes.

Not necessarily. What if it was the second-to-last turn, and you had 19 coins, behind by 1 star while the first place had no coins. And you were right in front of the star and weren't good at this mini-game. Wouldn't you want the coins then?
Sorry. I had to. :P

I was iffy on this game. It'd be a 50/50 chance of winning for me. I would usually plan out how to win, but of course the computers screw up my plan. If I knew I wouldn't win, I'd try to at least get a coin; rather win something than nothing at all. =P

You lose to CPUs in this? Man, shape up. I'm sorry, but I've never had any problems here.

You can't really blame him for losing, after all, I've lost a couple of times to CPUs because I get the wrong number or they screw up my plan by getting a different number.
