Title: ASM Event for Adding Stars?
Post by: AquCulu on December 13, 2018, 11:14:25 AM
I've been working on a custom board for the last few days (it's been coming along pretty nicely) however I ran into an issue as I wanted my board to only have 1 star, right at the end of the loop. So I decided to see what would happen if I ignored the warning and just put a single star on the board. The board doesn't crash, however the star space is completely useless and just plays the star space sound effect when passing it.

So, after I saw an event (;sa=view;down=258) for adding a specific coin value, I thought I could just do something similar and have it add a star instead. However I know very little about assembly, and I'm not sure what I would need to change to get it to add to the star counter instead.

Is it possible to do this, and if so, how?
