Episode 15 - The Lost Levels
« on: April 26, 2012 »

We have a new name! Gone is the Mario Party Legacy Podcast and in is the The Lost Levels! Our new podcast will focus on all things Mario and not just the Mario Party series. This week we discuss whether Mario has overstayed his welcome and whether all these Mario games is a good thing. SuperZambezi hosts as Dark Boo, SpiderStaryu, and H-J join in on the discussion!

Send in your questions to our mailbag at podcast@ mariopartylegacy.com and we will read and answer them on the podcast! Questions can be about Mario Party, video games, or anything else! You can also send your question to the podcast with a PM to the Millennium account through the Forum.

The iTunes page is now up, but you can still download or listen to the podcast online:

Yet another great podcast, boys! Lol, H-J, you were hilarious there.

Everyone has been talking about how there might be "too much Mario" since there's like around five Mario games within a whole year.

November 2011: Super Mario 3D Land
December 2011: Mario Kart 7
March 2012: Mario Party 9
May 2012: Mario Tennis Open
August 2012: New Super Mario Bros. 2
Holiday 2012: Super Mario Wii U (Possibility)

Yeah, just about six big Mario games in a span of fourteen months. Wow.

We actually discussed nine different Mario games:

Super Mario 3D Land
Mario Kart 7
Mario Party 9
Mario and Sonic 3DS
Mario and Sonic Wii
Mario Tennis Open
Paper Mario 3DS
New Super Mario Bros. 2
Mario Wii U

And now that I think about it, we forgot Luigi's Mansion 2! So that would have been ten. LM2 also falls in the "there has been a huge gap since the last one" category.

I think you spaced it because of its lack of Mario in the title.

Probably. And I think it's coming out this year so it would still count in our list.
