I am kind of disappointed with the concept. Don't get me wrong, Sonic Generations was amazing. Probably the best Sonic game to come out since Sonic Heroes (or if you're one of THOSE Sonic fans, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle). But I didn't want a Generations 2. The point of a franchise is to progress further ahead, not go a step backwards by catering to the salty retro fans by trying to hammer in Classic Sonic. As much as I love the Genesis era games, I really want Sega to create something like a Sonic Adventure 3. I miss the pure 3D platforming actions where there was no hand holding (like the homing attack's lock-on feature), I really would find it interesting if Sega went on in that direction.
