This is the end. We are ending early

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

and: Pink Team (2nd), Yellow Team (3rd), Blue Team (4th) and Red Team (5th), thanks for playing!

Now, just as we are celebrating Purple Team's victory in our Summer Event, I would like to ask you guys some questions. I will respond to all your posts.

1) Why did most of you give up by Week 4?
2) Was the game itself fun? What could have changed?
3) Would you like to see me host another game in the future?
4) Anything else you would like to state?

Once again, thanks for playing!

1. Probably not so relevant for Pink, but personally I found it was starting to cut into my time that I should have spent with irl stuff. Tbh the board I made was grinder mostly for five hours IN THE EARLY HOURS OF THE MORNING the day before submission. Also not as much teamwork from my perspective tho BT was a good assistant and checker.
2. I thought that as the first weeks 1 and 3 went on it got repetitive and the questions felt unnecessarily worked up as some sort of evil trial to make us lose points. No real issues with Week 2. Week 4 obviously disadvantages people with less aptitude in graphical design. I thought the shorter individual challenges were a bit of a 'waste of time' and also seemed too focused on trying to type as much as possible which isn't fun for people who have limited time. :p There needs to be more objectivity in judging creative tasks with explanations why ratings were given. Also I don't think it's too wise to give suggestions of things to include that agree with your 'likes' such as Koopalings, since that introduces a bias that isn't appreciated.
3. Maybe not something in such a large scale, focusing on 1 or 2 major group challenges would be something which I think you could host.
4. Too many teams in my opinion. Teams of two are a bit too small when working on team challenges.

Marth is not amused.

Okay. Well, thank you for the feedback. I apologize about the biased of the Individual Challenges. I didn't know what to do for judging, really. Some teams had 3 people, meaning they could all vote for their team and win.

For the future, if I ever host a game again, it would likely be individual, but not like Blizzard Bonanza or Spring Fever... something different! As for the teams, I was hoping at least 15 - 20 people would play. I should have changed that. I am sorry.

1. Um, How should I know, although I did consider giving up myself after Week 1. However, I heard some leaving due to the "bias" scandals and stress issues.
2. I did have fun. I got to really explore and experiment with concepts I've previously only briefly tinkered with and made a really good friend in AbsolPowers. As for change, I can't really think of anything off the bat.
3. I wouldn't mind.
4. Where's and what's our prize?

Sorry about the biased stuff. I am glad you had fun :)

As for your prize, I am currently discussing with SZ.

1. I was being a liability to my team and once I heard bias stuff being thrown around, that did me no justice.

2. The game was fun for its time but nothing could not have been changed (Maybe add more members to a team).

3. Yes, but an event that is less complex and more staple.

4. Hopefully the next event will be more fun and have twice as much people as this one.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry about the biased. I didn't mean to do it, I guess I did unintentionally. I wanted to have 3 or 4 members on each team, so I should have cut one team out of it. I do plan to have a less complex game if SZ will let me! And yeah, I am surprised only 12 people played, usually there are 20+!

1. Because our team had basically given up and we were so far behind.

2. It was "kind of fun". I did not like the fact that there was favouritism involved.

3. Maybe an individual one where you don't need sign-ups, that would be better.

4. Are we gong to earn G like other events? If so, I think the point totals should be shortened.

Okay. I am sorry about the far behind thing. In the future, hopefully there are no teams are anything. I have some creative individual event ideas that I will talk to SZ about (they will be different from Blizzard Bonanza and all that good stuff to change things up). I am sorry about the favoritism.

About the points, I am currently discussing with SZ.
