Nintendo of Portugal just made an "article" about the reveal of Star Rush and at the end they wrote: "Muitos mais modos estão, neste momento, em preparação."

Translation: Many more modes are, in this moment, under construction.

With the amiibo, considering the "ally" mechanic in Toad Scramble they might give you an ally similar to Smash and Mario Tennis. I'm just saying, It could happen.
Itsa me, Mario Kirby! Bring it on!

Personally, I hope there would be a story mode, unlockables, and a really good Minigame Mode.
The Minigame Mode was pretty weak in Mario Party 10 and Mario Party Island Tour and I though that was the perfect way to enjoy the minigames if you dislike the main mode so that would be smart to make really fun Minigames Modes like the ones in Mario Party 9 or Mario Party 5 for exemple.  ;)

Regarding modes aside from Toad Scramble, the only one I can definitely see is Minigames. Other than that, I'm not sure.
Itsa me, Mario Kirby! Bring it on!

It looks like the Decathlon mode mixed with Mario Kart, that looks pretty awesome!!  :-D
I love to see all the various modes in that game, I think they are finally getting a good mix since Mario Party 9
An great and complete main mode "Toad Scramble" with various smaller game modes that aim for other experiences (This one is totally about the Skill in minigames!  :P )
Can't wait to try that game and see by myself all theses new modes!!!    :D

I went the Mario Wiki thing for Mario Party Star Rush and it said that one of the Modes that were confirmed was a mode called, "Challenge Tower," with no description. Could this be similar to Bowsr's Tower, or is it an actual story mode? (I've been wanting one FOREVER!)

I think it would be like Bowser's Tower but with actual challenges.
Like, "Get 30 coins in that minigame", "Prevents Mario from winning the minigame", "Do a time in-between 45:00 and 50:00 in that minigame".
If that's it, that would be pretty cool actually! Even better with an actual story!! ;D
And single players bosses would be remplaced by challenges with bosses in Toad Scramble mode.

Why? I highly doubt that will happen.

because most of my friends don't play handheld games anymore, we all play consoles, and i don't want to pay $$ for the 3ds to just play Mario Party Star rush u know, it is cheaper if it is on the virtual store lol

Well, tough luck. Nintendo isn't going to put 3DS games onto the Wii U eShop. If you want to play Mario Party: Star Rush, buy a 3DS. Otherwise, just skip it. Assuming that you have Mario Party Advance and Mario Party DS through the Wii U eShop, this game and Mario Party: Island Tour are the two Mario Party games you'll be forced to miss out on.
