The Piranha Plant boss for Wiggler's Garden is so hard for me, than I needed a friend of mine to beat the boss before I could move on(Note: I just got the game 5 days ago and I've already beat story mode). Also, Duel Mini games can destroy or raise your chances on a board. The computers always choose the person who is in 1st place and that can get really annoying if you're in first by a large margin. Overall it's a good game, but it can get on your nerves.

One thing I hated: Kamek's Library. Probably the worst board in a MP game that isn't 1 way.
I hate the luck based stars, they are the worst idea ever, I hate that board and the reused minigames in different categories.

Hmm...

Story was corny.
Only 5 boards.
The boards were totally small.
Where are Boo, Toadette, Dry Bones and the rest on the playable section? :/
Puzzle Mode was kind of boring.

Too few boards that are too small, too few characters to choose from, and the hexes are too overpowered.

The existence of Cheep Cheep Chance. I never won that minigame and it's probably my most played one, too.

Yeah I hated the fact there were only 5 boards too.  Least amount in any Mario Party game.

I didn't like how there were only 5 boards. I hated the items' prices were low. Although I did like that you could buy more then 1 item. Hexes were overpowered and they dissappeared after the owner landed on it. I hated how they took out some characters.

I hated the lack of boards, the lack of characters, the fact that they brought back Mario Party 3 and 4's Story Mode, the amount of bland mini-games, the lack of unique spaces and the tutorial which was extremely less detailed than the other Mario Party tutorials.

Pretty much my opinion. The lack of characters was a pretty big disappointment for me. Mario Party is known for their colorful cast of characters.

I hated the fact that when using Random on the Friend Space, it always selects the player in last place.
Also think that star hexes come up too often, especially the -2.

Overall, I thought the game was WAY too easy when playing against CPUs, buying 3 star pipes from the shop was easy and made winning almost inevitable.

Well it's better than Mario Party Advance, overall I thought it was a good portable Mario Party. I agree though about the lack of characters, and the boards could use a little more variety.

Only 5 boards. Only 8 characters. WAYYYYY too many chance minigames. Getting stars is too easy. Boards are too short. Graphics are s***. Creators got lazy and made 4p, 2v2, Battle, and Duel minigames the same. Too many button spamming minigames. Only 5 voice effects per character. AI is awful.
I like pancakes.

In my opinion, what I hated about Mario Party DS the most were that there were fewer boards, most of them being extremely small and not fun to play on; only 8 playable characters, which was smaller than what I was hoping for, and; a lack of unique Duel mini-games.

BOARD MAPS:

Wiggler's Garden:
1.  Two consecutive Bowser spaces in a row

Toadette's Music Room:
1. Those metronome star changer things
2. Two consecutive Hammer Bro drum thingies
3. The piano mini-game gives jack s***, coin-wise

DK's Stone Statue:
1. Dry Bones isn't useful in the slightest
2. Landing on a (?) sends a barrel flying your way. 10 coin loss for anyone on that stretch (considering there's 3 stretches and (?)s on 2 of them, that's a bit harsh

Kamek's Library:
1. It seems very uninspired as a whole, and honestly it's pretty worthless
2. Landing on that Kamek thing can get rid of all your items and replace them with 1-5 Dice Blocks

Bowser's Pinball Machine:
1. The Bowser Zone is so god damned cheap. If you land on the (?) you're most likely to lose ALL YOUR COINS AND STARS. That's absolutely ridiculous.
2. That roulette mini-game is horribly rigged

SPACES:

1. Hitting "Random" on a Friend space ALWAYS gives coins to last place. In addition, the CPUs *always* give coins to last place regardless of circumstances
2. Duel spaces only appear within the last 5 turns
3. There are no "pass this to activate it" hexes

MINI-GAMES:

1. Battle mini-games should appear slightly more often. In addition, Certain mini-games should be Battle:

Get the Lead Out
Parachutin' Gallery
Cheep Cheep Chance
Call of the Goomba

^ there we go, no complaints from anyone.

2. There are virtually no original Duel mini-games.

In all though, I love love LOVE Mario Party DS. One of the very best games in the franchise IMO.
