Favorite Mario Party

I'll say that for me, it's a tie between Mario Party 5 and Mario Party 9.

Out of all the MP games I have, here is my Top Mario Parties:
1. Mario Party 2
2. Mario Party 7
3. Mario Party 8
4. Mario Party 6
5. Mario Party DS
6. Mario Party 9

I think 3 or 9, they were the best! followed by 7 and 5!

10.Mario Party 4: It wasn't bad but the boards were boring and the AI seemed especially retarded in this game and the mini games were hit or miss.
9.Mario Party 1: The boards were fun and the different items you have were good but the mini games were either okay, boring, or painful but the game felt more balanced than the other ones.
8.Mario Party 6: The mini games could be very enjoyable but the concept was more gimmicky than anything and the boards were good but its just average all around.
7.Mario Party 3: The game was great for the time with battle royals and duel boards with extremely good mini games but I thought most of the boards were boring.
6.Mario Party 7: I thought this game was a bit underrated and I like the a lot of the mini games and the 8 player concept. The boards are the real reason I like this game better than 3.
5.Mario Party 9: This game provided the facelift that the series needed and had amazing mini games I didn't like how the bomb-omb boss was more luck than skill. Also the concept wasn't flawed but I really like the original concept better honestly.
4.Mario Party 2: Most people have this or 4 as their favorites but I personally like this game much better but I think the final 3 are even better. However the boards and most of the mini games were fantastic except for most of the battle mini games but it really seems more of an update than anything else. A major update, yes, but still an update.
3.Mario Party DS: This game was so much better than the dissapointment that was advanced which unsurprisingly didn't make the list. However this game seems to have some of the original feel of the games but has much more balanced mini games other than 2 exceptions. It also has figurine that actually give you some reason play the story mode again. The main thing I didn't like was the boards got a little repetive after awhile but that's about it.
2.Mario Party 8: This seems to be the most hated other than advanced but honestly I like the game a lot even with its shortcomings. The graphics are underpowered but the art style is good, the mini games were fun except for flip the chimp, and the  best part by far is the boats each having a different concept I particularly like the King Boo's Board. As for online play there would constantly be quit games or AI replacements because a lot of people don't have thirty minutes (more likely more than that with map viewing descion making ect.) to play one board and some people could hack it for the perfect number they need every turn. In short this is the most underrated of the series.
1.Mario Party 5. While some may be surprised at this point sheet were you expecting advanced (which is a horrible concept for any game) or island tour (which I haven't played yet but honestly doubt would make number 1) This game has a great concept, great boards, and great mini games. The orbs were a nice diversion and there is not a single mini game I have other than the luck based mini games which are in every Mario Party.

I guess Mario Party 9, though I really hated how they put everyone in one cart. Mario Party 8 was really awesome too though. :V The graphics were kind of lame in it but it was awesome nonetheless.

Without a doubt, I think the best Mario Party was Mario Party 6. It featured the best minigames, best boards, and best modes. It also gets extra points for having a ton of replay value, and is fun even if you're playing alone. Out of all Mario Parties, I felt like Hudson put the most work and heart into this one, making it my current favorite Mario Party, with Mario Party 2, 3, and 5 very close behind.

Here are my 4 tied as favorite  :

- Mario Party 1
A big chaotic mess like any party is!  A really fun game with great minigames!
The game is so original with the minigames and the boards,love it!

- Mario Party 2
Ok it does look like Mario Party 1.2 but it still an awesome game!
Especially the stories in each board!

- Mario Party 6
I really love the  Day/Night idea,it was done pretty well (even if it could have been improve)
The minigames and board are fantastic! I also loves the orbs!

- Mario Party 9
An totally new and awesome way to party!
An really original Mario Party with awesome minigames,modes and an awesome new concept! I love the car!!

You did play it on a emulator though.

On topic, I think my favorite in the MP series is Five, mostly because it's the one I played the most, and the huge graphical upgrade from the N64(I didn't get MP4 until later.)

My top is :

Mario Party 5 - I love because fantasy style of this game, lot of stars (bacause is my main and favourite symbol).
Sweet and nice music, this gameplay (including minigames as well) have lot of balanced too.
but only bad for Mario Party 5 is have a lot mashing minigames (my finger pain x_x")

Mario Party 3 - I love adventure story of this game, lot of stars (like as above).
have more minigames and balanced more than above and a lot board games.
but lost only little about style graphic and music.

Mario Party 7 - I very love this fantastic gameplay and have a lot of players, very gameplay and minigames balanced as well but music ok.

Mario Party 6 - I love this game most overall and very fun but minigames easy for me.

Mario Party 4 - I very love music in this game (music look like more athletic for me) and boards gameplay but most minigames very easy for me. but have top favourite minigames history is Panic Panel (everyone fall off lol).

Mario Party Island Tour - I love fantasy and graphic of this game, great music, nice minigames but i didn't love board gameplay (little bored and don't like most advice in this game).

Mario Party 2 - Most of minigames very easy and very adventage for me(just bored.), i love some events in this game (example Bowser Parade put everyone toss coins make me laugh lol).

Mario Party - Like MP2 but have minigames easy and very adventage for me more than MP2 and now have few of minigames annoyed about reward and rotating control stick (my finger pain x_x") but i very love boards of this game.

Mario Party 8, 9, Adv and DS didn't ever play due to not have Wii console or not have spent time to play but see some in Youtube and not place to my Mario Party favorite ranking.
