Of course I was the one at the end of the short stick.

This was the first I ever saw a tie in any Mario Party.

Staryu was right behind us with just 10 coins less.

Usually the bonus stars break the tie but this game it did not...

Not a surprise to me. It's happened before, I remember such occurrences in Mario Party and Mario Party 2.

But it's good to see how it would happen in Mario Party 7, but of course, it's just to roll the die.

I never thought this could happen. The closest I have seen is Chuggaaconroy and SlimKirby losing by 1 coin.

I think it is most likely to happen in 9 because they have no coin and star system.

Believe it or not, this happened with me and my friends, and I was involved in the dice roll. Pretty sure I lost  , but it was still really cool to see. We didn't think much of it at the time, and honestly didn't know that was how the game decided between a tie since we had never even seen it before. Still didn't take any pictures of it though.

Pretty sure it happened by a last-turn Koopa Kid space that divided coins evenly, then was either a 2v2 or 1v3 minigame that gave 2 or 3 people the same number of coins, or a draw in a 4-player. Then it just came down to bonus stars.

That's pretty insane. 14 years of Mario Party and that's never happened to me.

Just like them to have you decide it all by rolling a dice block! That doesn't surprise me one bit.
