Just an idea I was thinking of, since I know many thought the game was lacking in options and could use some more.

The Club Nintendo Post-Play surveys should start coming out for us soon, and I think if we all say a certain thing over and over between all of us, there's probably a chance Nintendo will catch wind of it and maybe, hopefully make an update for it.

Stuff I was thinking was like... having a Custom Fighter's mode and Smash Run mode available in the For Fun lobby.
And being able to invite a friend to be your ally in For Glory teams. (IDK about you, but I hate going with a random ally when it's For Glory)
And game options when starting a Smash Run game, like what final battles could appear, time limit for both the trial and the final battles, and whether you can see the other players or not.

I think if enough people say things similar to these, Nintendo will take notice and hopefully make an update so we can have these features in the game. It's a great idea if I say so myself. :P

So basically you can't see the "in-progress" results of the Conquest then?

Meaning you can't cheat and join after it's already 80% - 20% good call Nintendo. :P

I wonder about the "adjustments" made to balance the game though... specifically...
Did it make my characters better!? :P

No. They're completely useless once you update.

Well darn it all. I guess I'd have to record them somehow (probably with my phone, but alas, the quality! Ack.)

You didn't have to update if you wanted your old replays. Of course, you would be locked out of online for eternity if you chose that way.

So for those of you that downloaded Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, was your system linked to Club Nintendo prior or within five days? If not, then you don't get Mewtwo or the soundtrack.

Quote from: GoNintendo
How to get your Mewtwo download and soundtrack

- register copies of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS
- consoles must be linked prior to download
- if consoles aren't linked within 5 days of downloading the game, you can't get the deal

Coming from Nintendo customer service...

In order to register a game downloaded from the Nintendo eShop your console needs to have been linked to Club Nintendo either prior or within 5 days of downloading the game. If this is not done then the game will not be valid for the promotion.

Please note that this system does not work retroactively, this means if you have not registered the console with 5 days of the game purchase then you are not able to register the game. We are also unable to manually add any purchases made before linking the console.
