Was Toadette the best addition?
ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?! I was the best idea since Sliced Bread!!

But still, lots of stars were needed for you to get an invitation, due to Brighton and Twila hating you.

That and the fact that the pop-up story book seemed so much more worth buying.

Iv'e never played Mario Kart Double Dash but ever since I saw her in Mario Kart Wii iv'e allways played as her she's got the best speed off road and acceleration.  But why NINTENDO have you cut her out for 4 years come on she was only in mario games for 4 years now youv'e taken her out for 4 years bring her back in please :'(. And now it seems like your cutting Toad and Koopa out of the playable charachter roaster. Who next Yoshi if this is the way it's going your going to loose alot of mario fans.

She was playable longer than Blooper, Hammer Bro, Dry Bones, and Koopa Kid.

Yes it was. She debuted in Double Dash. But I would much rather play as a character I have history with like Birdo, Princess Peach, Mario, ect. and other than maybe Rosalina most of the newer characters suck. Like the babies and Dry Bowser and the older characters just have story behind them. Like whats Toadettes story? Who is she? Where did she come from? Thats the problem with spin-off only characters they just have no story and barely a personality. The only time you do see a spin-off character with a background and a personality behind them is when they are in the story mode for the game but that only applies mainly to the Mario Sports RPG spin-off games like Tennis and Golf on the gameboys.

She has a little bit I guess. We can see her and Toad or siblings or something since they look alike.  Well I see them as sibling. Most of the spin-off characters from the GC days were cool. I love Petey and the cherry blond girls from the GBA sports games. Some weren't though like Flutter and Wiggler being in Power Tennis.

I wouldn't consider Birdo a popular character. I hardly ever see any Birdo fans, and the people who don't mind it, hardly ever use it. It probably has more haters than likers. At least Toadette is actually used and appreciated by a lot more people.

Toadette may not be the most important character; however, she is a notable and rather popular one who was included in many spin-offs as a playable character. Aside from the Big 8 characters + Daisy + Waluigi, Toadette is fair game for the remaining characters considering her recurring appearances for a future spin-off.

I did like her but I rarely play as here.  So good addition but I'm just not a Toadette player.
