WARNING! Game Breaking Glitch - DO NOT SAVE OUTSIDE LUMIOSE CITY

Cause this is what happens if you do:

Pokemon X and Y freezes every time at loading ポケモンXYフリーズ
You're fine if you save inside a building or whatever in Lumiose City, but doing so outside could really screw your progress.

So don't ever save when you're in Lumiose City.

How odd... I did that exactly, but I never got into a glitch like that before.

Some say it's affecting those with Japanese and European copies, but it didn't say for North America. But better to be safe than sorry. Hopefully there will be a patch that will fix this issue.

Also saw this on 3DS Daily...so just to be sure, DO NOT save in the outside within Lumiose City before the blackout, but you can inside a building or after this blackout. I'll just run out of city limits; I need to double-check on what's okay before I play again because where I saved, I was in the route before and was a giant fountain on top of the screen.

Just don't be in the city, it's that simple. But apparently if you save in a building you're fine.

I heard of that but never got this problem at all so I guess it doesn't affect every game or every point.

The blue shading are the areas where you should NOT save. And the good news is, Nintendo is releasing a patch to fix the save issue bug.

The save patch is now available in the Nintendo eShop! This game-breaking bug should no longer pose a problem now.
