Exactly 3 years ago today I was typing away finishing up the first official news post of the old Super Mario Party Site. What an awesome feeling it was to finally have the website up and running for all to see, along with a Forum that already had 15 members reigistered. It was a great day knowing I had started something big that would not only affect my life, but affect the lives of many others.

It's been three years of ups and downs, good and bad, and overall awesomeness. Iv'e made mistakes and we've made bad decsions but in the end we have pulled through and we are where we are today. Knowing that tomorrow is the start of the fourth year of Mario Party Legacy makes me feel amazing inside. What will the new year bring? What new ideas will be brought to the table? All I can say is I'm looking forward to this new year with great enthusiasm.

There have been so many people I'd like to thank from our community here at MPL. It is really amazing what we have going on here and I can only hope it continues to get better and better. 

I would also like to add that after 3 very long years, this is the last day I used my old avatar. Here it is for safekeeping and memories.  O0

On September 18 2008, I was looking for some GIF's to put in a Mario Party 8 movie I was making on Windows Movie Maker. I found this site which had heaps of info about Mario Party like the Characters, Hosts and Games. I didn't find any GIF's but the site looked awesome. I wondered if there was a forum and I finally found it. I had the name Yoshi1 on a different site which showed pictures of MP8 stuff and you could comment and chose the same name for this forum. I was so excited tha I joined.

A lot of people welcomed me and helped me. Particularly Shaby and Vip. A few weeks later I got banned. I went through Spam School which was very odd. Later my ban of 3 days finished and I tried not to spam. I didn't and have never gotten banned since. I hope I don't get banned in the future either.

Everyone on this forum have been so nice and friendly and this forum has been great! I hope this "greatness" continues in the future.

I registered here three years ago (almost) and found this place via GameFAQs. I joined and ended up making a lot of friends. However, SZ left without notifying and me, H-J, and yoshi_7 all spammed to prevent from the forum being purged. Soon, I got banned for three weeks with Snowy620 P), thanks to rigging the mod votes in April 2008. -_- Later on, it went through rough times and TT accidentally deleted his profile, yoshi_7's profile, and cookieboy17's profile by deleting a membergroup. H-J was intact because he was a Global Moderator. Later on, it was really rough with the Spam School fiasco and banning of members. While TT and cookieboy17 were admins, things went too strict and cookieboy17 accidentally screwed up the forum, which caused us to restart.

In 2009, after the hacks in December 2008, we started anew and things were going fine. And then SZ announced the Glacier Summer program in which four teams competed and Team Arctic Ruby that consisted of me, yoshi15, Real Hammer Bro, and garis208, won the competition. I was promoted to Global Moderator after I graduated from high school and then promoted to Admin in early October 2009. We then held the Blazing winter program which went okay, but failed in the end.

In 2010, we went through a few rough times with sex jokes. After Lent 2010, we held the Conquering Kingdoms and that failed, too, since we really couldn't keep up and it was getting too repetitive. After this, I resigned from admin for the best of the forum since I wasn't cut for it at the time, but I was promoted to Adviser after TT dropped the position. SZ disappeared without a trace and came back for only two days before Advent 2010. After Christmas, activity has been rising ever since.

And now we are in 2011, with many more years to come and many projects are now underway.
