Mario Party Legacy was not always our name. When SZ first created the website and forum it was originally called The Super Mario Party Site. The name change to MPL didn't come until about a year ago when we were in one of our slow patches and SZ and the admins at the time, HJ, Aegis, Cook and MLYW, decided to revamp the site to try and bring in more members.

I'm not sure how many of the older members that even remember SMPSF, (other than Aegis Snowy and Cook and us Staff members) are still here.

I've known about your plannings, too. The change from The Super Mario Party Site Forum to Mario Party Legacy Forum was very much needed. The original name was so long and tedious. I remember we had the red and black theme, that was brilliant.

It's too bad that none of the members for the past 1.5 years have not known about this, simply because they weren't there for the change.

I remember that I discovered the site/forum when it was called that way, in 2009, so I do remember a little bit about it, although I won't say that I was really much around during that time because of how I was just looking at some things about Mario Party games and that signing up at the time was probably the last thing I thought of. I think that the new name is well made, though.

Ah, that original green site, the darker green than this one. It's kinda funny how people like Ether, Snowy, and Tova came from here, but they were so different when they first joined here.

I don't remember a ton of stuff off the top off my head. I know I joined while SZ randomly went away during Lent without telling anyone so me, H-J, VIP, and Tova basically roamed the site along with a few other posters. Then the mod vote rigging with Vip and Snowy. No one even knew Snowy too and then he had made this huge ass post to make sure everyone knew he was taking vip down with him for asking him to rig the vote.

And speaking of the mod vote, I remember yoshi_7 (aka Tova) changed his name to Z_Yoshi. So during the mod vote yoshi_7 got 4 votes and Z_Yoshi got 2 votes. But SZ couldn't tell the difference. H-J had 6 votes and became the sole G-Mod. Could've been Tova too lol.

I was a douchebag though as an admin at times before I resigned the first time. Like if I felt like someone was being a noob I'd go and find some posts where they broke a rule (even simple ones) and me and Tyler would have them banned on a 3 strike system that SZ implemented. And I'm pretty sure I extended 2 people's bans by a few extra days when their ban was about to end. But some people were some huge noobs lol.

And I've been perma-banned here twice too. I've been perma-banned twice and admin twice. Yup, SMSPSSFSFSFS at its finest =P

I was here when we were SMPSFII. I remember the background was green, which was very un-attractive to look at. I remember like weeks after, when me and Chubz started talking, he said something about a blue theme, and I switched to that for the longest.

But yes, good times.

The original SMPSF days were hilarious. Charizard's posts, Sexy Party Forum, Waluigi's Taco Stand, and Joey's random "If Toad Had Hair?" topic. Good stuff lol.

I remember those days. I loved the old light blue theme, but I never used that green theme we had.

I remember meeting Staryu and we started talking on the shoutbox along with Berrylarry200, Daisy255, and Maria. The shoutbox was more popular than the boards were during our dead days. That was when I was very active in the shoutbox back then.

During the time SZ was gone, we were trying to boost the activity here so we went on a posting spree and starting making a bunch of MP minigame topics for people to post in. And then we had the Charizard posts. XD

I'll never forget those days. Oh the SMPSF nostalgia.

Yeah counting the time I got banned on the April Fools Day shit last year I've been perma-banned 3 times actually lol.

It's odd hearing all of this stuff happening, because when I joined I hardly posted and didn't talk to anyone, and there's so many things that took place it's crazy, I remember the change to Legacy, I think I came back from a vacation and it just looked different.
