The first track of Star Cup in Mario Kart 8. This course is themed after Super Mario Sunshine, a Super Mario 3D game for Nintendo GameCube that came out on Monday, August 26, 2002 in North America. Shine Sprites are also referenced here. The course goes through the terminal and the airport on the island. Koopa Troopa Beach from Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart 7 can be seen off from the distance.

This is one of the great tracks Mario Kart 8 has. It brings back memories from Super Mario Sunshine. Airplanes flying along with you or opposite as you was really cool. When this course was announced, I really thought on where the airplanes were headed, though it seems that they were probably going to other tracks of Mario Kart 8, shown on the screens inside the terminal, despite that there aren't any other airports in anywhere else in Mario Kart 8.
