Street Date Broken In Canada And Italy

It has been reported that stores in Canada and Italy have broken the street date for Pokémon X/Y. The game is supposed to be launched on Saturday, October 12, 2013, but stores aforementioned have the game early and are selling it early. This may spell trouble for Nintendo. For those of you in Canada and Italy, are you going to pick it up?

I'm looking at Yoshiman222, Luma Party, Maxime, and Timmy.

There are leaks shown, but I'm not posting them because that may end us up in trouble.

That's the tough part. I think a lot of people are going for Y.

So after looking at most of the stores near me, I conclude that they haven't broke street date at all so I'm impatiently waiting for the 12th. I was planning to get it at this date anyways so not really 10 days before.

Same here - looked around and that hasn't happened either.
Perhaps this is just a false rumor? Who even claimed this...? :what:

I did hear from one of the cashier of the EB games I went to that there were just leaks from Japan, and that's it.
...I decided to pre-order it and wait anyhow.

Nintendo will probably send another rep to there. Not only the games, but Nintendo 2DS, too.

I doubt Nintendo is going to do anything about streetdates being broken unless you're like the idiot who publicly stated (and showed his face) to the internet, "Hey guys I got the game early!"

If you look at r/pokemon or /vp/ a bunch of people already have the game and have leaked lots of stuff anonymously.

Rumor has it that the Canadian retailer(s) have been shut down thanks to selling Pokémon X/Y early.

Well, Nintendo was very serious about it.
