now for my story.
Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Wario, Waluigi, Toad, Toadette, Yoshi, AND DK are all sent shooting into the wild blue yonder by a giant slingstar. While you're flying past the stars, Roselina comes and tells you that Bowser has taken the staff that controls the stars, the star rod. Roselina then allows you to choose between the 10 characters you start with. She then takes you to a small planet that has 10 regular sized slingstars, and one giant slingstar silhouette. Roselina tells you the huge slingstar takes twice as many star peices, and that each small slingstar has a board that gives you a star piece. I have and idea for the first two boards. Gearmos junk yard and Penguins ice slide.
Gearmos junk yard is basically like Wario's battle field in smp1. Gearmos send you through a warp tube from island to island. You look for the gold Gearmo, he gives you a star for 20 coins. Silver Gearmo gives you 10 coins. Just find a gold Gearmo, but he and silver Gearmo use the warp chute to get around, so don't count on it being easy.
Penguin ice slide is like Goombas Booty Boardwalk in smp8, just pay the elder Penguin 50 coins, and then coach Penguin gives you a quick tunnel that doesn't have any spaces back to the beginning.
A third level could be a Whittle treetop level. As for the shop, you use coins, power stars, and grand stars. 100 coins=1 star. 10 stars=1 grand star. They're all used in the shop. And 10 starpieces=1 giant slingstar. Whenever you win the board in story mode, you unlock the character that features the level. And once you use the big slingstar, you compete in the bowser level against 3 of Bowser's minnions, Petey Pirhanna, Dry Bones, and Goomba. Once you win, you unlock them in opposite order. You go one more time, win one more time, and unlock the Koopa king himself. The character spaces are Banana spaces with DiddyKong replacement of DonkeyKong spaces, but a mini game instead of a free star. Graffiti spaces with BowserJr replacement of Bowser Mninigame, and new Comet space with Roselina. For the record, I got that idea from someone else, but it's good. And I know it's 24 characters, and 11 levels, but I think it'd be fairly awesome.
