Okay when the Story starts you'll see most of hosts from the past MP games they invite the Mario Crew to a Tournament and after u get the invitation you can choose your Character then the Story Starts and as I said before you can walk/run through the areas like in SM64 just no health meter if u see a character and if u feel like chalenging them talk to them and you can start either a 4-player/2VS2/1VS1/8-player Party if u win you earn 10-50 party points u lose and u get 10-50 party points taken off your list.
Reach 150 PP's to get to the finals in 3 rounds with your character u play in 3 final boards after the winner is decided Bowser shows up and takes the Magic Star (Tournament Prise as I said before) And 4 characters (Including u) Go to the final Board Bowser's Castle After the game's over u face Bowser in a final Minigame along with 3 optional charcters after the game's over and u win then Bowser will surrender and return the Magic Star to the winner and he/she is declared the Grand SuperStar and the Story ends
NOTE:The Three Colored Koopa Kids may challenge you and If u lose they'll take 20-50 PP's from u.

One day bowser saw that mario and his friends where setting up a party bowser got mad cuz he wasent invited he decided to set up his own party but no one came Bowser got really mad and stole power from the stars in the sky the next day rosalina spoke with mario and his friend about the missing stars but suddenly bowser and bowser jr apeared with a giant key he had used the star power to create a key that was able to open portals to another dimmension and he sucked mario and his friends into another dimmension now bowser can do what ever he wants with the mushroom kingdom but suddenly bowser and bowser jr got sucked into the other dimmension a black star had pushed himself bowser and bowser jr in after a while mario and his friends woke up in a town the star wich name was dimmenstar told them that they where locked into his dimmension he also told mario and his friends that the key that can open a portal to the mushroom kingdom was broken and pieces where spread out across the dimmension mario or one of his friends must gather the pieces but mario and his friends got angry about who that should collect the pieces so they decided to have a mario party to se who is the super star that can save them

Ok,I'll try to make this simple:
Mario was taking a walk through Peach's Castle,then,BOOM!!!!!!! Mario runs to the throne room. Bowser captured Peach! He flies off to his castle,leaving you and Luigi. Bowser's airship drops Bowser Jr. off at a castle. He takes peach to his castle. You must go through party boards to get to Peach. When you beat someone at a party board,you can choose to be them for a party board. When you get to Bowser Jr.,you have to beat HIM at a party board,along with a magikoopa,koopa kid,and a blooper. They join your team,but of course Bowser Jr. doesn't. When you get to Bowser,you have to beat HIM,Bowser Jr.,a hammer bro.,and a buzzy beetle. After you beat him,he flies off somewhere else. After that,you unlock free mode! You can do the story again in free mode,but you can be anyone in the game! That includes Bowser and Bowser Jr.! And I'm not done yet.
You get Easy free mode,Medium,and Hard. Every level is a bit more harder than the one before it. Once you beat hard, you unlock Expert. If you beat Expert, you unlock Super Story. In Super Story, you have to face EVERY SINGLE PERSON!!! [On a party board, of course] The order is as follows:Larry, Roy, Lemmy, Wendy O., Iggy, Morton Jr., Ludwig Von, Kamek, Bowser Jr., Bowser, and Dry Bowser. Once you beat Super Story, you get 9 extra characters:Larry,Roy,Lemmy,Wendy,Iggy,Morton Jr.,Ludwig Von,Kamek,and Dry Bowser!They're from new super mario bros wii. Mario and friends go visit E.Gadd to see his new invention, the TimeWinder! E.Gadd explanes his newest invention to the party and more. Meanwhile,Bowser spies the group in E.Gadd's building, causing Bowser to have a plan to get rid of Mario! So,he calls a floating metal box with Bob-oms inside! He tells them to find Mario and the gang and to steal the bluprints to E.Gadd's machine! Meanwhile,E.Gadd turns on the portal and can see throung many different time periods!It all was very exciting,that is,until a floating box appears and explodes! Everyone goes in the portal and the enemies close the portal! Bowser got ahold of the blueprints and the gang are stuck in time! Looks like the only 7 Legend Stars can help us in this situation!

Once Bowser had given up on the the gang, the party wins victory! But, a vortex of time paradoxes appear out of nowhere! The party leaves while Bowser is stuck to a wire. The portal door is opened and everyone is out of the portal except Bowser! E.Gadd was very upset about the accident. But, at least the braty koopa was out of the picture now. Everyone left with a good-bye to E.Gadd
and left his dome.E.Gadd even wondered where his blueprint was!

Meaanwhile, bowser and the koopalings and koopa kids steal all of the stars, so Mario and co must take them back! But while partying.
The story mode has 10 boards, each for the koopalings (dual each),Bowser Jr. (dual), Koopa kids (all on one board), and for the final, one of the three new characters (dual) (you decide the characters). In the end, Mario and co take back all of the stars and destroy Bowser's machine.

Okay, I've made a revised version of the story. It will be like the Mario Party DS story mode, with cutscenes and boss mini-games (let's just say you're playing as Mario):
INTRO:
Mario & co. were busy partying in their different party boards, when Toadsworth and Tumble arrive with horrible news! Rosalina has just announced that Bowser has created a large thing in space called the Death Sun with the power to DESTROY the party boards! Mario and his friends decide to destroy this Death Sun. However, Toadsworth decides that only the best partier should verse Bowser! So, Mario and co. decide to party on the different party boards to see who's strongest.
AFTER RICCO HARBOR:
So, Mario bested his fellow partiers. However, Gooper Blooper did not allow Mario to pass without defeating him in a mini-game. Mario bested the Blooper in his mini-game and Mario was allowed to pass! He then rode a ship to Brooklyn to go to DK's Construction Site.
AFTER DK'S CONSTRUCTION SITE:
Mario once again bested his fellow partiers in his hometown of Brooklyn. However, DK gave Mario a deal: if Mario beat DK at his mini-game, DK would launch Mario out of a barrel cannon all the way to the next party board: Fly Guy's Skytop Climb. Mario agreed and beat DK so he got to use the Barrel Cannon.
AFTER FLY GUY'S SKYTOP CLIMB:
Mario won again. But, General Guy came and told Mario that if he beat his own mini-game, Mario would be taken by his Fly Guys to the next party board, Baby Park! So, Mario beat his mini-game and he was taken to Baby Park by the Fly Guys.
AFTER BABY PARK:
Mario bested his fellow partiers and wondered where the next party board was. At that moment, Toadsworth and Tumble arrived and said that there was a train station nearby...and the next party board was Toadsworth's Tea-Transporting Train! However, Tumble wouldn't let him go unless he beat him at a mini-game! Mario won and he was allowed to board Toadsworth's Tea-Transporting Train.
AFTER TOADSWORTH'S TEA-TRANSPORTING TRAIN:
Mario beat his fellow partiers on this party board. They were close to arriving at the next party board, Koopaling Kastle, when Toadsworth said that Mario wasn't allowed to leave unless Mario beat Toadsworth at his own mini-game. Mario beat Toadsworth and left to Koopaling Kastle.
AFTER KOOPALING KASTLE:
Mario beat his fellow partiers in Koopaling Kastle. Then, Mario found a secret passageway to the next party board, Bowser's Castle! Unfortunately, he was forced to fight the Koopalings in their own mini-game before Mario was allowed to pass. Mario, of course, beat the Koopalings in their own mini-game and took the secret passageway to Bowser's Castle.
AFTER BOWSER'S CASTLE:
Mario beat his fellow partiers in Bowser's own castle. Then, Mario realized that he was unable to travel to space! Then, Toadsworth and Tumble came and said that Rosalina was coming with her Comet Observatory. However, Dry Bowser, Petey Piranha, King Boo, and Mecha Bowser challenged Mario to a mini-game; Mario won and they let him board the Comet Observatory.
SPECIAL ROSALINA CUTSCENE:
Rosalina explained the whole story to everyone. Then, she said to Mario that the next party board was the Good Egg Galaxy, and Mario should be good at this board, since he came here 6 times before. So, Rosalina steered the Comet Observatory toward the Good Egg Galaxy for the next party challenge.
AFTER GOOD EGG GALAXY:
Rosalina congratulated Mario for being the ultimate partier and the one who was destined to fight Bowser. She then took the Comet Observatory towards the Death Sun. Then, there is a mini-game where you have to control the Comet Observatory to disarm and damage the Death Sun so you can enter it.
SPECIAL BOWSER CUTSCENE:
Rosalina drops Mario off in the Death Sun. Here, he meets Bowser for the final party. However, Bowser says that he is not partying alone; Bowser Jr. and Kamek will join him.
AFTER DEATH SUN:
Bowser and his minions are tired, and suddenly, Rosalina, Toadsworth, and Tumble come along with the rest of Mario's friends and tell Bowser to get rid of the Death Sun. Bowser gets up, laughing, and then tells Bowser Jr. and Kamek to apprehend all of them. Mario was able to not get caught and put in a cage. Then, Bowser challenges Mario to the final mini-game, where Mario has to free his friends from the cage while depleting all of Bowser's, Bowser Jr.'s, and Kamek's HP while making sure his HP does not empty.
ENDING:
Everyone boards the Comet Observatory and returns to the Mushroom Kingdom, watching the Death Sun explode. They wonder if they are OK, then continue partying on the Comet Observatory. Once they return to the Mushroom Kingdom, they see Bowser and all of his children, plus his minions, asking Mario and his friends if they can party too. They say that everyone can party, and so, they all go to Peach's Castle to party some more.
EXTRA:
Wiggler and Koopa Kid can now be unlocked by buying them in General Guy's Skytop Shop. Also, the Peach's Castle board can also be bought in General Guy's Skytop Shop. The cutscenes can also be watched in General Guy's Skytop Shop.

They ask them where they are and when they turn around, they turn out to be a goomba, koopa, shy guy, blooper, magikoopa, koopa kid, and a mystery person wearing a hood. They explain that they are scientists who are busy inventing. They say they will only let them leave when they defeat each scientist at his/her own game. They have a machine that can make them feel as if they are in the areas they are competing in when they aren't. Each person (except the hooded one) have parts to an invention which will help them defeat the hooded scientist. Once you win the party at each board, you will then compete against the scientist who runs the board in a game (the game is different each time). If they beat them, they will give you a part. Once you complete the invention, you will play one last party, but then you will face the hooded one in a battle, who tuns out to be Toadsworth! Toadsworth then congratulates them and explains that he wanted to give them a challenge, so he got together with the other scientists and made the machine. Then they opened the ground up under them and the rest is history. He then leads them to the castle for a party!

I made up my own board in the board suggestions thread, called Bowser's Big House. Here is the story:
Mario and the crew were walking through the town, when a koopa came out of his house.
Koopa: Hello, mario crew, bowser just butted in to my house and moved in, and know he's trying to ruin all my stuff! Would you guys mind if you stop that hobo?
In the bowser boss, you have to beat Bowser's Robot. Once you defeat him, the robot kicks bowser through the window, and acts nice, quits being bowser's minion, and cleans up the house. Plus he fixes everything!
Koopa: Thank you, (insert who ever you are playing as' name here), for now on I'll own this robot! Whenever my kids make a mess, my bot will clean it up! Here's this sky crystal that the robot found while cleaning up.
Mario and the crew were walking through the town, when a koopa came out of his house.
Koopa: Hello, mario crew, bowser just butted in to my house and moved in, and know he's trying to ruin all my stuff! Would you guys mind if you stop that hobo?

Everyone gets stuck in a time machine (by bowser) and get sucked back into time and have to play a retro mario party. If you win then all your stars will power up the time machine and you get to go back to modern time. At the end you unlock 8 NEW boards and 10 NEW characters.

MP9's not coming out but even if it did I highly doubt they'll bring back DK I dunno about Diddy There absolutely no way they'll add Bowser,Dry Bowser or his son I don't think R.O.B will show up on MP just cuz he was on Mario Kart!The Ultimate Yoshi Fan said:
