(SPOILER) The "classic" galaxy

What did you guys think of when you saw Throwback Galaxy? Or rather "Whomp's Fortress"? I was so ecstatic when I saw a Super Mario 64 level return in a new Mario adventure game! That galaxy brought back memories, indeed. And it was nice to play an old course again.

What are your thoughts on this?

I wish I didn't see it in a video online. It would have really shocked me. It was still cool to play. I love the music.

I wish they redid more levels. But it was too easy to be in level 6.

I wish I didn't see it in the trailers too. When I saw that level I was half hyperventilating and half screeching with joy.

I thought it was pretty cool but a little too small and easy.

I was really disappointed to see a SM64 level that I barely remembered. >.< If anything, they should have done something with Tick Tock Clock or Rainbow Road. I could see many gravity gimmicks.

It was a nice return, but it was easy, as well. So easy that it should have been in World 2.

Aah I like this stage back in Mario 64. Brings back some great memories. Yeah it's a little too easy to be on World 6. Maybe on 3. Whomp King is certainly tougher than the original.

I thought the galaxy was pretty cool. It reminds me of the good ol' Mario days on the 64. Anyway, I wish they would've had the fortress at the top, but it was really fun to play. The boss was different; he kept on throwing me off into the blackhole . The baby whomps were cool and I hope they become a character in a future MP... :

Whomp's fortress, revamped. It's cool how the original boss only took one hit to defeat him, not 3 hits. Anyways, the true end really surprised me. And I watched one of MarioMario54321's videos, and the true whomp said that the Whomp from SM64 is his wife. No wait. That's a different Whomp. When I get Super Mario Galaxy 2, this level will be easy.

It was a nice return, but it was easy, as well. So easy that it should have been in World 2.

I guess probably to have an easy level to relax on World 6. Or maybe to be relieved to see a "classic" Galaxy to return all the way near the end. i really loved it though and the remix was cool.

I don't have a strong memory of Super Mario 64, but yeah I feel like I've seen the level before. How do you find the Comet Medal in this level because i've searched the tower from top to bottom and haven't found it.

The Comet Medal is under the area with the tall pole, the same area where Star #3 is in Super Mario 64/Super Mario 64 DS.

I explored the ENTIRE area!

It's so cool that they brought it back! ^^
