After you defeat him, he reveals that he was the man from the story about the ultimate weapon 3,000 years ago, and thanks you for freeing him from his torment. Then his friend Floette returns to him after 3,000 years of separation, and AZ is brought to his knees, with tears of joy for finally being reunited with his friend.
Then the credits scroll and this song plays with it.
