For the next few weeks, me and my borther will be playing a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog from the Sega Megadrive. I have Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic 3. We will be playing them in order until we finish Sonic 3. We're starting Sonic 1 tonight, and it's 1-player so we take turns. Sonic 2 and 3 are 2-player and i'm always Tails. I will post here if we get gameover or wherever we are at that moment. I'll post again for how well we went in Sonic 1.

Well we just passed the boss on Labyrinth Zone Act 3. That is the hardest boss ever and so scary. Now we have to do Starlight Zone and Scrap Brain Zone with 1 life remaining! We have to find some lives or get a continue atleast or else we have to start again.
Wow, hope you pull through. Labyrinth is indeed hard for some players, but it's easy for me.
Well somwhow, we survived the next 2 zones with 1 life and beat the Final boss! W realized we had a continue as well as the 1 life, so that was lucky. We got more lives and 1 cont. as well but I beat Robotnik first try.
During the Server change, we beat Sonic 2. It's a pretty easy game. I was always Tails, and when my brother got ahead I still caught up off the screen! Once again, I beat the final boss on my first try.
Now, we're doing Sonic 3. We've got game over twice (because my brother just sucks
), but luckily, Sonic has a 'Save' file. We are now up to Carnival Night Zone, Act 2.

We did it!
On the final boss, it was my brothers turn (because it goes 1-P for the final boss) and we forgot how to beat him and when he died, I remembered and somehow beat him on my first try. So on any final boss, I could say that I can beat it first shot!
The Sonic Fest went quick, but we did really well.

What about Sonic & Knuckles, plus Sonic 3 & Knuckles?
Well I did all these games on the Wii thanks to the Virtual console. Sonic & Knuckles is a future release on the virtual console, so I don't have it. But I am getting it when it comes out and then I'll do the Sonic & Knuckles and include in our Sonic fest.vipsoccermaster said:

I gave up after a while and fout out that the usb connector for wifi was in the wrong place and huzzah!

We just started it about 30 mins ago and finsished the first 3 acts of the game (Both Acts of Mush. Hill and first act of Flying Battery). That first act and the boss of the Flying Battery zone was so hard! We lost about 11 lives on it and we didn't know how to beat the boss until my brother figured you had to slef-destruct it. And act 2..............I hope is easy.
It sould be easy, avoid him.
Act 2 was hard, but not as hard as darn act 1! And now we're halfway through Sandopolis Zone (Act 1). Lucky we got a Star Post (but we call it a ding-a-ling) before we died.
Sandopolis Zone (Act 2) was difficult for me and my sister the first time around. We were stuck on the sand slides and the moving platform and we couldn't figure out how we were supposed to get out and then time ran out.

I've read about the 2nd act, and it looks hard. I hate levels where you have to switch something every minute to keep the lights on or else you'll die.
We finally did Act 2! It didn't take us ages, but we ran out of time once. But luckily for continues, we got to start from the star post and time time started on zero. And the bosses were fair easy too. It took us a while for the rock mummy boss but not long. And the act 2 boss was simple when I noticed you had to hit the green thing.
I've read about Lava Reef zone and it supposed to be the longest zone ever! So I hope we don't struggle. The storyline's also supposed to change a lot from there so I look forward to that.

We played lastnight and got past act 1 and the boss of Act 2 but died, got game over and we had to start from the start of zone since the save slots don't save the act you're on. But we lost 2 lives on our last continue (meaning we had 1 left) because my stupid brother got crushed by a slow moving block. He did it twice in a row and lost them both in 10 seconds! And another life that he lost was when we didn't know where to go so we jumped off a ledge but lava was there, then we found the other way. While going that way he fell off that way so we started where we were again and tried to go the first way (without any rings) and forgot there was lava. :-D
But I saw a bit stpuid too by flying everywhere and accidently picking him up when he jumps because I grab him and it messes him up. Also, I just did act 1 by myself and here's what I got from that:
