Is each board had a story going on.
Like in Mario Party 1 and 2, that added much more personality to the boards.

Yeah, I liked how each board had their own little problem going on for the Superstar to solve such as "save Western Land from Bowser the Brash" or "Use the power of the stars to save ther Yoshies".
I'd be an interesting feature to return in future Mario Parties, along with the plot of the game. It might have to be the Superstar plot again. The Power of Stars!

A board story could work for a future MP. MP1 and MP2 had interesting stories.

I would like the title screen change feature when you win a battle royal from Mario Party 1
I would like the costume change feature to return
I would like to see the Items that feature in Mario Party 3 to return (modified of course)
