Just get the PS3 and keep your Wii, no reason to sell your Wii.
PS3 games are way too expensive. I'd keep the wii and try to find other games that are still decent. Or better yet, for 1 ps3 game, you could get 5 really good gamecube games. I'm keeping my wii because I know some wii games will come out that I want to play and I use it to play gamecube games. I say keep your Wii and save your money.

60 dollars does seem like too much for me. I like Gamecube games just because they're only 10-20 per game. 4 60 dollar (Possibly good) games or 16 decent games for an older system.

I don't think he realizes Gamecube games also costed 50 dollars when they were new. You're better off getting 5$-10$ PS2 games anyways.
