SEGA's Net Sales drop by 42% in latest financial report

SEGA's most recent financial earnings report was not a wholly positive one.

Reporting a decrease of 42 percent in net sales, the publisher reports sales earnings of ¥52.9 billion ($426 million), operating losses of ¥9.5 billion ($76 million), and net losses of ¥7.9 billion ($63.8 million).

Sonic's expression says it all.

Sega needs to realize you can't just jump into the mobile and PC market and expect to be popular right away. It's sad to see a company that was once up so high, can be in such a bad situation, even with it being merged with a huge pachinko company.

Not any I know of.
Sonic Lost World was the last decent game from SEGA, strangely got 50-60 percent ratings though and that was 2013

What does this have to do with Sakurai? :p
Sonic was in Smash because of SEGA being one of the few companies to give support to Nintendo during these lower years.
