I loved the multiplayer in SA2. I hate how they replaced Big with a chao and the lack of an Amy costume since she is the only one in the story not to get one. I love how Tikal and Chaos were in it. :3

I loved the multiplayer in SA2. I hate how they replaced Big with a chao and the lack of an Amy costume since she is the only one in the story not to get one. I love how Tikal and Chaos were in it. :3
They weren't part of the multiplayer because they held no relevance to the story.
Big had many cameos in the Dreamcast version. I don't see why he wasn't in Multiplayer or Battle in general.
Anyways, I loved the Downhill Racing and Grinding versus stages. Reliving the streetboarding part of City Escape and grinding through the pyramids was so satisfying when you actually compete.

I loved this multiplayer, definitely tthe best of the series imo. I really liked how you can replay any stage with the characters, me and friend always played this.
The Chao are a part of the game, Tikal and Chaos weren't playable if I remember correctly.★Plum★ said:

Metal Sonic was also playable in multiplayer, but wasn't in SA2 and was unlockable in SA1, but you would have to work to get him.

The races were always the best though. I would always make my friends MAD becuase they would always chose Shadow and be all like their bad ass and Id chose Amy and they would roll their eyes and call me gay. I would always win and they would be so pissed off.
Metal Sonic was a fun character to play with. :u I like his black diamond barrier.
Battle mode was fun, honestly. I wished I had people who would play battle mode with me. Baw.
Chaos was pretty cool, too. :U

Best part is when you use Action Replay to play as the Multiplayer characters in Single Player.
