Pokemon ORAS Demo

Have you played it yet? Thoughts on it?

The demo was good. Obviously, I wasn't expecting a full game or something close to that, but for a demo, I feel like a bit more could have been offered. (Just a little more) First mission was definitely great to go through. After a while, it does get a bit repetitive, but it's really worth it, at least for the music. Also, the fact that each mission takes less than 5 minutes to complete is kind of boring, but it's no big deal. I mean, we get a couple of items and of course a Mega Pokemon. So that makes up for it lol.

I've been playing almost everyday, see if I can unlock one of those secret missions. Still nothing tho.

The demo actually made me less excited for the game. I don't know, I just don't feel like going through another Pokemon game right now. I was a lot more excited when it was first announced.

It may be the fact that the demo lacked in content and also, Super Smash Bros for Wii U (and 3DS) has taken all the spotlight. Perhaps

The missions were all short, though the Glalie holding Glalite that is from the demo is nice, I'd probably use it in my team.

I actually got the early code and while I didn't play the demo every day, I did play it 10+ times which gets you quite a few nice items you can send to the full game. It looks so nice and there's something about the running and sneaking animations that feel so natural. Based on my impressions, I'm gonna be resting in a nice warm nostalgia Alpha Sapphire-brand hot tub.

My only disappointments were when Nintendo said that X and Y couldn't accommodate the new Mega Evolutions despite patches being a thing and that character customization wouldn't return (Talk about a bombshell).

Pretty much this. The secret missions, though, are rare to get, so it's going to take a while before we get to those. Some other missions open up after about two weeks of playing, so I hope I expect to see the secret missions after Election Day or so.

I did once, and only the Nugget was obtained. Plus, the man implies you can get more, too.

Well, at least you can start it off with some serious money at the beginning of the full game.
