Piranha Plant Slide/Piranha Plant Pipeway

Piranha Plant Slide (known as Piranha Plant Pipeway in Europe and Australia) is the first course of the Star Cup in Mario Kart 7. It is based off of the underground levels of Super Mario Bros. It consists of floating blocks, two Gloombas, one Grand Goomba, and of course, Piranha Plants. Players have the option to drive on the floating bricks and collect the Coins on them.

Mario Kart 8 trivia: The course is updated to have ambient lighting and better shading.

This is one good track, having a moderate amount of skill and some nice SMB references.

I find this track enjoyable, even the music. I can't say anything negative about it, having decent underwater and gliding parts, and relatively easy to avoid but good obstacles. I'm glad this made it as a retro track in Mario Kart 8, I think it deserves it over some others.
