The final track of Leaf Cup in Mario Kart 8. Yoshi Valley returns from Mario Kart 64 from Nintendo 64. This course is a maze-like racetrack that features multiple paths for racers to take. The course has been revamped with updated graphics, and now a place for all members of the Yoshi race, called Wild Yoshi Sanctuary. Yoshi of all colors can be seen, as they change colors along the starting area each race, and you can see Yoshi Eggs nesting all over the canyon. The track itself has a few changes, such that the long route now has a cannon barrel, the bridge route no longer has a bridge, and Porcupines are replaced with Goombas. The Giant Yoshi Egg is now smaller and has coins trailing it. This track can be used as a battle track in battle mode.

Yoshi Valley is one of the great courses back in the day. Yoshi Valley in Mario Kart 8 now really feels a place for Yoshis. It's a shame that you now know what position you're in, rather than not knowing what position you were until you finished. This took the suspense away a bit. This track was a great track in battle mode, it really feels like a maze and is considerably harder to find opponents.
