The final course of Shell Cup in Mario Kart 8. Toad's Turnpike returns from Mario Kart 64 from Nintendo 64. Toad's Turnpike has gone through many changes since its last appearance in Mario Kart 64. The background of Toad City can now be seen, there are still vehicles that either drive along with you or in the opposite direction as you, and there are even vehicles that allow you to glide or perform tricks. There are also two anti-gravity areas where you drive on the walls to avoid traffic completely. There are Item Blocks and Coins on the track, unlike its last appearance where Item Blocks were just on the side of the roads. The side of the roads are filled with Coins rather than Item Blocks. This track can be used as a battle racetrack.

I'm glad that this track returned in Mario Kart 8. But not everything is back; playing in Mirror Mode is not like what it was before! Although Mirror Mode is easier, it would have still provided a challenge if the vehicles were driving the opposite direction as you. I also really like the music, both the original and the new version, they're both great.
