The third track of Banana Cup in Mario Kart 8. Royal Raceway returns from Mario Kart 64 from Nintendo 64. The track is largely the same as it appeared in the original, only that it's been upgraded with many things, and added hot-air balloons and swan boats. The road to Princess Peach's Castle is now blocked off.

It's great that this track returned. There's really no complaints for this track, except for the fact you cannot drive around the castle grounds anymore, as it's been blocked off. I guess Nintendo doesn't want you to waste time exploring there and instead focus on the race. And even though this track returned in Mario Kart 8, the award ceremony doesn't even take place on the castle grounds.
