For some reason I've been online with Mario Kart 7 for a while and now, I'm starting to race in Mirrored courses; thinking that was a cheat. It started when I was facing Yoshiman222 with a VR at around over 2,500. How is that possible?

The Mirror class seems to be uncommon for me online, or I never notice when they change the engine class.
I think mirroring happens more often if the player whose course is chosen has 3star rank, tho it's happened to me before but I think I'm only a 1star. Might be determined by if you played Mirror yourself.
I AM a 3-star player... (I got the ranking three days after I got the game) I think this has something to do with the effect. I'm guessing that Nintendo can call out a Mirrored race at anytime, it doesn't happen at all times. When you vote for a course, you may notice the Mirror effect meaning that the next race WILL be mirrored. Hard to tell.The Shattered Legacy said:
I believe it's selected randomly, even for players that first start the game without unlocking the class. Does Mario Kart 7 have that message "Next class will be Mirror" anywhere online like MKWii? It's been a few months.
