Introducing the MPV logs. A statics of what has happen during Mario Party Velocity's events. All times are PST:

Key: (Date and Time in PST) "Action Performed"

SAMPLE:
(03/18 00:21:14) "Game Start"
(03/18 00:21:16) "USERNAME's (P1) Turn!"
(03/18 00:21:21) "Rolls a 6 on the standard Dice Block"
(03/18 00:21:27) "Lands on a Blue Space and earns 3 Mini-Stars"

Note, if some are in orange, that means the active player must respond to this post.
If it is in red, a PM must be sent to Blue Toad for hidden progress to others.

Mini-games are now under construction. I only have 5 days to finish them!!

However, there are boss mini-games, but only 1 player can attend this.

There are 2 boards that contains 1 Boss Mini-game each:

Bowser in Bowser's Black Hole
    and
Toadette in Toadette Nightmare

The boss Mini-games are still being planned.

Is there certain amount of bonus if you beat these minigames, and is there certain amount of penalty if you fail them?

If you defeat these bosses, you will be the true superstar of those boards. If you fail, you will lose all of your Mini-Stars and get kicked back to the start of the board. If you win however, you will get a big bonus of 50 Mini-Stars (100 if it is Toadette)! And those matches end automatically if the boss of the board is defeated.

Bowser's Mini-game is quite easy but Toadette is the hardest.

However, 1 turn log can only appear everyday. Players can comment about these events. However, if it is in Orange or Red, they must respond. They must always respond during Mini-games.

This only happens at 9PM PDT.

Also, one 1-vs.-3 Mini-game had it's title and rules being modified. In addition, 2 Boss Mini-games have been added as planned.
 
Recently, I've been using the ChatBox and now,

They get to roll a dice block,  that a random number is shown.

Those updates are now posted at 9PM PDT over the ShoutBox, and later in the main event.

You should see it like this over the ShoutBox;

(19:30:11) ChatBot: Blue_Toad rolls 1d6 and gets 6.
(19:30:16) ChatBot: Blue_Toad rolls 1d6 and gets 2.
(19:30:27) ChatBot: Blue_Toad rolls 1d6 and gets 4.
(19:30:34) ChatBot: Blue_Toad rolls 1d6 and gets 2.

I don't want to use the player's display name here or I would get in trouble.
