If it was Koops, or Koopie, or any other distinctive Koopa I would completely support their inclusion... but not just any generic background minion.

The inclusion of Koopa is really cool. I don't really care about so called "Developed" characters much, honestly. I find it more interesting that you're playing this from a normal (To the Mushroom Kingdom, anyways) critter's perspective. I guess it's because you're playing an everyman that adds value to me, baha.

My random guess is that Koopa went from
flagman > bankman > background character > playable character
He obviously got fired and then rehired to become playable.
