While both of these characters have resolved incidents, this point goes to Sanae, because she goes as far as defeating two unsealed powerful figures and even Suwako herself.

Sanae is entirely one-dimensional, and can be rather harsh to some of her opponents. Marth is a levelheaded, wise, and compassionate character, placing other people's needs and his responsibilities with more priority than his own comfort.

The conclusion: Sanae may perform her duties well, but Marth is one character that keeps me interested longer with his numerous traits.
