While Snake is skilled at utilizing many gadgets, this point goes to Reimu, because as the shrine maiden of Hakurei, she can float and manipulate aura.

While Reimu has been known for resolving various incidents, this point goes to Snake, as he prevented nuclear cataclysms thrice and thwarted Liquid Ocelot's plan of world domination.

Category 4: Personality

Reimu's personality bugs me, as she has no tolerance for any disturbances, regardless of cause or motive. Snake, on the other hand, shows concern for his allies' conditions and even shows honor towards his fallen enemies.

Reimu is a jerk when resolving incidents, beating up everyone in her way, even if they had no role in the incident. Snake puts his past behind him and fights for world peace, showing off in some awesome scenes.

Snake is always ready to do whatever it takes for the good of the world, even crawling through a freaking microwave tunnel. Reimu, on the other hand, is motivated by her desire to get more followers in her shrine, and the more prosperous Moriya gives competition.

Category 7: Game Quality

Spoiler

This came down to two games: Undefined Fantastic Object and Metal Gear Solid 4. While UFO was good, MGS4 wins for having lots of depth into it, even bringing forth lots of emotion.
