Mainly to show the similarities between these early titles and Fortune Street Wii
This post will feature some images relating to results screens.
I always play as the character Kurein/くれいん/"Klaine".
Oh yeah, I'm playing these on iPad if you wondered
NES
An example game ending due to bankruptcy. The map reminds me of Fortune Street Wii's tutorial map but with a differently located bank. Notice how the property info panels (capital value and price for purchases when landing) are colored based on owner. おかね = Cash on hand, かぶ = Stocks, しさん = Properties, ごうけい = Total.
An example game ending due to target reached. Notice how the minimap shows who owns what properties, and that on the board, properties in the same district share an icon and property color backing. The square icon in the suits line is a Dokodemo (どこでも) Card i.e. Suit Yourself Card; that one was owned by たかゆき.
The typical detailed results. This screen appears before the ceremony showing who wins etc. I think the order of items is the same as Fortune Street Wii but I don't recall exactly. いただき = Sales, ふりこみ = Purchases, かいすう = Number of, そうがく = Total amount, へいきん = Average, さいだい = Greatest, かぶもうけ = Stock return.
SNES
Target for this game was 20000 I think, so I'm walking to victory =p Dominated district there lol. The coloring was reversed compared with the NES version; properties are now owner colored and the property info is colored to group district properties. Also the capital price disappears once a property is purchased for the first time. The properties themselves change as they become more valuable, and I have some nice department stores there (the highest property icon is a red mega hotel tower like thing). The guy on my 2208 property is the Maharajah who functions like Gumdrops - free money =p. I think in one game he disappeared after landing on a crappy property... Also note the cosmic theme of he bank icon, and the looping stage design.
たいようけい = Solar System (the name of this board), もくひょうきんがく = Target amount. I'll talk spaces another time.
Remember the Maharajah landed on my 2208 property, which is why there is a mismatch with max sale and max purchase for me.
Another board, this one is special for being two-floored. The yellow player なつひこ was bankrupted (unfortunately not by me lol) leading to a lot of auctions in this game (due to forced sale). The blue player しんじpissed me off a lot with his districts and not landing on my properties til late game. I made the bankruptcy condition for this one three players ie everyone but yourself =p
まてんろう means Skyscraper. なまえ means name.
I was worried that the game might end up becoming a me vs しんじ match since こうへい the green player lost a fair bit to me. Thankfully he survived. I still lol at how なつひこ got bankrupted by a measly few-hundred valued property. To be fair his luck was little better than VIP on Yoshi's Island.
