I sort of just disappeared

I haven't really been online for a long time. I've been busy with schoolwork and I sort of fell away from most Nintendo games. I bought Mario Party 9 but only played about 2 hours of it before I sold it and my wii to get a 360. And one of the other reasons that I just fell away from the forums is that the majority of the active members just didn't treat me with respect. I just didn't have much of a reason to come back. If it wasn't for a friend on this forum sending me an email, asking me how I was doing, I probably would've just forgotten about this place altogether.

I'll just put everything behind me and try to be the active member I used to be.

Everyone seems to wonder why I sold my wii for a 360. The wii was alright but I've always been more of a fan of Gamecube games. If I want to play wii games again, I'm pretty sure that I'd be able to if I decide to get a Wiiu. Besides, I wanted to try out different genres of games that Nintendo doesn't really do. The wii never has been known for it's first person shooter titles The games I have for the 360 so far are Portal 2, Skyrim, and Minecraft. I've been addicted to the PC version of Minecraft for over a year now and wanted to try its controls on the console with a controller. I still am a big fan of Nintendo games though.

I respect your decisions of selling your Wii, but of course, like you said, if you want to play Wii games again, you would be needing Wii U. Too bad we won't be able to play brawl in the meantime, though.

At the very least, before you sold your Wii, you at least tried out Mario Party 9.

Yeah with MP9, It wasn't the best move for the series because it made things much more luck-based and made the maps linear because you didn't have many options as to where you can go on the map.

I get what you mean, the games that are exclusive to PS3 and Xbox seem to range from really good and bad, but it is always good to try and spread your genres of interest.
