All criticism is good, no matter how rude the person may have written it. It's always advisable to listen to what others have to say. In the end, they're basically just trying to help you, so why not accept it?
Hey, m4e? I'm sorry, but i'm not 'nice' (read: sugarcoating) with other people either. If you're going to do art or literature, you need thick skin and the ability to accept criticism from all sides, positive and negative. As i write professionally and get paid for what i sell, i'm open to improving and fixing my writing whenever i get the chance. You should be too, but i suppose to you 'constructive critique' is on the same grounds as 'being mean.'

I get that Britonie's post was pretty bitter but he does know what he's talking about. The only way you're going to improve in your writing ability is to recognize what you're doing wrong and try to correct that. Deleting constructive criticism just because it sounds mean isn't going to help you improve.
Trust me, you want people to look at your work objectively and pick it apart. I've spent hours on things that I thought were pretty good, only to have someone tell me to change something or redo something. It's frustrating, but it only enhances your skills.

I can't really comment on anything here, but M4E, you're a good guy, but just because you do something, doesn't mean everyone will like it.
If people give you help in life, you can't deny it, you'll go nowhere in the real world if you do that.

It basically comes down to whether you're that concerned with popularity. You can write it in script-style writing, but that won't earn you any flavor points with the majority of readers. I used to do guest star fanfics in script style, too, when I was a kid. It's easier and seems like a more direct way to approach the action, but it leaves a lot of the important stuff out and you won't be able to attract as many readers as if you use an (even simplistic) regular format in writing.
That being said, Bowser mentioned that you have 31 chapters already IIRC, so that may not be an option at this point.

Actually, even though he's my friend, I AM on his side for a reason. If he were to keep this style up, it would be much more organized. If it were in big paragraphs, it would be hard to follow along. There's too much dialogue between people to make it a big paragraph.Luma Party said:
