How did you find MPL?

Website or Forum. So how did you find about or come across MPL?

Back in about late 2012, I watched some MPL vids of NSMBU and Sticker Star. Didn't really interest me to go to the site though. When I used to visit Nintendo 3DS Daily, I would always accidentally click on the MPL link. One day I just went there on my own and read an article on Toadette and I think Yoshi? After that, I became interested and visited the site regularly. Around the time the CPOTD started, I created my account and joined. also joined the forum after but whateves
 
A while back, I happened to stumble across the site. My newfound interest in MPL became an account on the forum, which I rarely used for about a year. I went back once for who knows why, and discovered Bowser498's first Mario quiz, and I decided to join it. After that quiz, I never left. (Though I rarely go on the site anymore tbh- forum's where it's at)
 
Back in early 2009, after playing Mario Party 8 (or was it MP7? whatever), I started looking for info on future Mario Party titles. I also wanted to look for ideas since at the time I wanted to create boards. I found MPL through some hand drawn boards. I just remember a pipe one. Though, I did not join until 2010 after I remembered this site existed. I don't really know how I remembered after a year.
 
I tend to have phases when I'm researching Nintendo games where I just become obsessed with that game. It happened to me some time after MP9 came out, and I went to the site to look at secrets in MP9. I kept coming back and looking at the various Mario Party related features. Then I went to the home page and realized that there was a lot more to the site than I thought. I made an account to comment, but I didn't really become part of the community until about midway through the PotD's lifespan. Then I joined the forum when I turned 13.
 
I found this website about 3-4 years ago. I was searching some Nintendo news websites and some about Mario games when I found MPL. I really liked the design (7th Layout) and there was a lot of interesting topics and guides. Funnily enough, what really took my attention the first time was the list of Mario Party characters on the right side, lol. So from this moment, I started visiting it on a daily basis.
 
Googled "Mario Party Forum" to see if there were any forums I could join, found one called the Super Mario Party Site Forum, registered I think the month after it was made, and have been on for nearly eight years (therefore wasting my life for a good chunk of my life basically lol).
 
I first discovered the site via Mario Wiki' sources of info. It was during the time I was interested on the then-unreleased Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. I was on MPL just for info of the game. Then one day, a MK7 CN was announced and decided to join because why the hell not. Didn't knew anyone, but it still was fun. I was just "Ivan", then. I only was there for the CN's  and occasional Survivor polls. Over time, I started to comment, changed to "That Guy Over There", discovered the forum, but paid no attention to it for a time, changed to "Zympherior", and joined the forum when I discovered that there were some people that dissapeared from the site.
 
Let's see... I believe I regularly came to the Super Mario Party Site Forum, before actually visiting the main site. According to my profile, I joined in 2010. But alas, I won't be able to remember exactly how I came about this site, and why I joined.

Still, it's been a great 6 years being part of this community... I've seen some people come and go, and I've witnessed various shifts in the demographics and content provided by the site. Here's to many more years of the Mario Party Legacy! XD
 
I founded and joined this site a year ago when the Mario Party retrospective was a thing to build up to Mario Party 10. I wanted to express my thoughts on how much I liked the Mario Party series with some games I enjoyed or was indifferent to them. It was a good time to spend on the site, until busy life kicked in and I was never active on forums a lot until I come back on occasion if there`s anything interesting I wanted to say or just look at stuff for a bit. I`m quite surprised this site has been running for quite a long time lol!
